We are an online Music Marketplace looking for a Creative Director that shares our enthusiasm for serving diverse customers. You can motivate a creative team made up of on-site internal creators and remote freelancers to new heights because you are a team player and a leader. We’re looking for someone who can think analytically and creatively. Process-oriented, strategic, and with broad experience in the media and entertainment industry with strong partnerships. We are looking for someone with experience in social media marketing, video production, creative development, art design, and voice over directing. He or she is both a natural administrator of the team and a creative thinker. Someone who enjoys a fast-paced atmosphere, is able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, deliverables, internal meetings, and brainstorming sessions, and who is aware that outstanding creative not only garners accolades but also boosts financial results.

 

Position Requirements

All creative goods created by the internal agency must be of exceptional quality, and that is the responsibility of the creative director (CD). The Creative Director works cooperatively with agency employees, vendors, and leaders to manage a pipeline of projects from various business units. The Creative Director reports to the CMO.

 

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Senior creative leadership for internal agency projects with both a comprehensive perspective and a thorough comprehension of projects for business units.
  • Acquiring and retaining knowledge of the business’s industry, goods, business culture, and competitors
  • Provides creative inspiration, direction, mentorship, coaching, advice, and performance management/reviews to creative team members, ensuring that each team member produces the highest quality work.
  • Oversees monthly creative and production of multichannel + omnichannel ad campaigns.
  • Understands the trends and advancements in the advertising, digital, and media industries and applies this knowledge to present business development ideas for the client and the agency.
  • Can articulate to CMO and team members the reasoning behind each concept.
  • Works with CMO to identify solutions through creative and marketing strategies.
  • Offers support to functional areas focusing on strategic objectives and consistent delivery of the creative product. Promotes the creation of powerful cross-functional teams.
  • Works with senior leadership and human resources on related issues like hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding employees, and addressing issues, in addition to performing related tasks in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Oversees the phases of the creative plan’s evaluation as it develops.
  • Following the specified workflow and procedures of our organization, cultivate talent while expanding knowledge and skills

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Although not required, bilingualism in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Agency or in-house functional competence in Creative 7+ years; 3+ years of leading and coaching teams; proven design portfolio; CD must have experience in art direction; catalog development experience preferred.
  • Understanding and expertise in the printing process are advantages.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) (preferably in creative, design, advertising or related field)
  • Being able to convey concepts and ideas to others orally, in writing, or both, especially to design employees across disciplines and project managers
  • Knowledge with agency procedures, vocabulary, new or related technologies, and social media
  • Strong listening abilities
  • Strong creative leader with a track record of innovation and execution

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
